Cinque Terre are one of the most beautiful and particular places in Italy. I have been there several times and I recommend you to go for a visit during spring season.
Unfortunately, the places to visit are almost always very crowded, but it is not a problem because the connections by train from La Spezia are very good and comfortable.
Cinque Terre National Park includes: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso. Portovenere is not considered part of the National Park but is another fantastic place to visit.
RECOMMENDED THREE DAYS PHOTOGRAPHY ITINERARY:
I suggest you to stay maximum 30 minutes from La Spezia, in order to reach it in the morning and park in the station area without problems. On Sunday the blue parking areas are free.
On the first day you will have to go to the station to purchase your three-days ticket for the train (you can also buy them online at this link).
DAY 1: RIOMAGGIORE AND MANAROLA
After purchasing the ticket, you will have to take the train to Monterosso and get off at the first stop: Riomaggiore and stay there in the morning.
Copy the coordinates under each photo and paste on Google Maps to find the locations.
BEST PHOTO SPOTS IN RIOMAGGIORE:
In the afternoon, take again the train always to Monterosso and get off at the first stop: Manarola. Personally this is my favorite place of Cinque Terre. I highly recommend you to stay the whole afternoon and enjoying the sunset at the end of the day.
BEST PHOTO SPOTS IN MANAROLA:
After the sunset, go back to Manarola station and take the train to La Spezia and return to the car.
DAY 2 – CORNIGLIA AND VERNAZZA
After reaching La Spezia station again, take the train to Monterosso and get off at the third station: Corniglia.
Personally, this is the least attractive place of Cinque Terre, but it is definitely worth a visit. I have not found particular spots where to take specific photos.
In the early afternoon take the train to Monterosso getting off at the first stop: Vernazza.

DAY 3 – MONTEROSSO AND PORTOVENERE
Departing by train from La Spezia towards Monterosso, stop at the fifth stop: Monterosso. I have not been there because I decided to visit Manarola again but I think it is a beautiful place especially in the summer.
I recommend you to visit also Portovenere, it is near the Cinque Terre Natural Park. You can reach Portovenere by bus from La Spezia in about half an hour.
